Public Meeting to Kick Off Petition Drive

Somerville, Massachusetts

The Somerville Bill of Rights Defense Committee invites all interested
people to a meeting on Monday, April 14. At this meeting, people will
learn about the USA PATRIOT Act, the nationwide Bill of Rights Defense
Committee movement, and local efforts in Somerville. There will also
be a brief workshop on petitioning as well as team-building for those
interested in campaigning in support of the proposed Somerville Civil
Liberties Safe Zone resolution. Informational packets and petitions
will be available.

The meeting will be held at 8:00pm in the West Branch of the
Somerville Public Library, at 40 College Avenue, two blocks from the
Davis Square T Stop.
